Didn’t get a chance to see this last night, but Happy New Years! When you guys make New Years Resolutions, try to stick to it. Even if you don’t think you can do it, just motivate yourself and you’ll get there. Resolutions are about goals, long-term goals you set for yourself and yourself only. It’s a process, so if you feel like you’re not getting there soon, just remember that it takes time and patience is a virtue.
Make it last. One more year until 2011. One more year, you guys. We can do this.

Should’ve notified you all earlier, some people who don’t go on tumblr still might not know, but this is our junior t-shirt design:
Created by Christine Joy Perez. You all voted, so now you have to order. If you’re wondering what the back design is, there is none. We have decided that a back would actually make shirts for a class of our size more expensive.We’re going to give you order forms Weds. in reg, and the due date will probably be after break.
Also, some of you have concerns over the Sophomore Sweatshirts. Our only advice is to not think about it, because of course we cannot tell them how to run their government. The sweatshirts are also cheap because they have a little less than twice the amount of people our class has.
That being stated, our shirts are looking like about $15 for crewnecks and maybe $18 for vnecks. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT FINAL.
Today there was a prom committee meeting, and the senior votes were counted. The theme for prom is Fly Me To The Moon, a song popular in the 1950-60’s. This theme is also compatible with Film Noir, a style of filmed black-and-white mystery movies, which can be really glamorous. Feel Free to write responses!

There’s a site called GoodSearch.com, and it’s powered by Yahoo! as a search engine. I know, I know, some of you just prefer Google, but what if the money that search engines get when you search something just goes directly to our school? Google doesn’t do that =P
When you search on Yahoo!, or any other engine, money goes to that site. Just about as little as $0.01 per search, but that amount increases with the amount of uses. If all of you start using GoodSearch, Balboa can really start getting more money. Might want to set it as your homepage, it gets easy to forget.

Hey everyone!
It’s Jenn :) Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all and hope you guys spent time with your family and/or friends today. I also hope that you guys said your thanks to someone who deserves it. We’re almost halfway through the school year! See you guys on Monday when we come back from break! Until then, enjoy the rest of the break!

The Juniors sold Kerati’s fried rice, Derrick’s brownies, Jenn’s potstickers and fresh juice!
There was an incident where Jenn’s juice-maker didn’t work, because the extension cords were unplugged, but we got it fixed in time.
Thanks to all those who came out in the quad and supported the Juniors, we definitely appreciated it.
Next time will be even better ;)

We should be cutting off design entries soon. We wanted to have polls out by Wednesday, but that’s not possible with spirit week, so we’ll have poll out by next Wednesday! If you have any designs, just send them in as soon s possible, if you THINK you might have a design to send in, email us stating the time you might be done because we CANNOT wait until the last minute, because we need to print out polls and such.
